Judith Lambert holds a degree in Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Business Law and Finance attained in 2014 from Murdoch University in Western Australia. Judith later pursued and completed her Master’s Degree in Finance from Curtin University in 2016 also located in Western Australia. Her graduate degree afforded her the opportunity to learn about project management and especially international, multi stakeholder initiatives. Judith’s academic background has equipped her with the technical skills to understand and effectively run the operations of JUNACO Group successfully.
In addition to her academic qualification, Judith has undertaken several key and sector relevant trainings on water treatment chemicals from Blue and Gold Reef in South Africa. The training equipped her with a broad understanding of the sector and sharpened her knowledge in areas such cooling water treatment, cooling towers, boiler water treatment, polymer chemistry and applications, the operations and maintenance of water efficiency.
Judith’s first major professional engagement was working as a Project Administrator and Finance Coordinator for Grid Transmission LTD (Malawi) in 2017. The company deals in carrying out infrastructure/construction projects across the African region. As a Project Administrator, she was tasked with overseeing and managing the implementation of a World Bank funded project relating to the construction of three new substations in rural regions of Malawi namely Kauma-Lilongwe (66/11kv), Katoto (33/11kv) and Dwangwa (132/33/11kv). She led 3 cross functional, geographically dispersed teams tasked with the implementation and finance management of the project. This role allowed her to engage and create constructive working relationships with multiple stakeholders in government and the development partners community in Malawi.
Judith joined Junaco Group of Companies in 2019 as the Group Operations Manager. Her role in the company includes and but is not limited to assisting in maintaining a sound operational planning system across the group, working closely with the CEO on establishing annual operations plan and budget as well as monitoring and evaluating progress of the company’s_ _operational strategies.
